"Most art brands create paint for the sake of mass production; very little conscious effort is put into making a long
lasting product for the sake of the artist’s work and its longevity.  It is rare to find someone interested in assisting
artists for the sake of art, Eric Silver of Blue Ridge Oil Paints is one of these rare souls and his product is
exceptional.  Eric is extremely generous and very well informed in the manufacturing process of paint and of its
history.  Eric apprenticed with Robert Doak, which should tell you all you need to know about his serious
commitment to creating the best artist’s paints possible.  I have been extremely picky with how the paint I work with
feels to the brush, having used several brands I found a few that moved the way I like it.  Using Blue Ridge Paints
for the first time was like upgrading from a Honda to a Lamborghini.  Not only are the colors true to their name,
not only are they made with original source materials, but they also have a viscosity I have never experienced with
any other paint, and a luminosity that is without comparison.  I hope Eric Silver and Blue Ridge Paints are around
with us for a very long time to come, the best of luck to you and thank you again for your generous contribution to
    our craft."

"I can't say enough about Blue Ridge paint and Eric Silver. His paint is of the highest quality. A
rare combination of unparalleled handling, ground to the perfect consistency and strength. Eric
Silver's commitment to quality and freshness is a tremendous value to the oil painter."

"Ordering paints from Blue Ridge Artist Materials is quite simply a pleasure. The oils have a smooth,
buttery consistency and the quality is unmatched.  You can email Eric, and he will help with color
questions, which is just invaluable. New colors mixed fresh, quick shipping and outstanding customer
service.  It just makes good sense to order from Blue Ridge."

"Ive been an illustrator for 20 years and tried every brand of paint. These are the best. The research,
thought and care that went into making them are amazing. I have many unsued tubes all over the place
because I prefer working with Blue Ridge paints. My art teacher recommended them and Ron really knows
what hes doing - I trust his judgement. It wasnt off. Nobody is doing what Blue Ridge does with paints
these days - going back to the original roots and the purest sources. Everyone else is just concerned with
making a buck...Blue Ridge doesnt compromise the quality of their paint."

"As a professional artist I am very picky about my paint. Blue Ridge Oil Paint hand mills pigments I have
not seen before and I was eager to try. I was not disappointed! The paint is unlike any other paint I have
ever tried. There is no oil sopping, the pigment load is heavy and the paint is the perfect consistency to
    work with.

Before finding them I was down to one brand which, while good, did not carry the antique colors I needed.
Blue Ridge also ships very fast and paint is packaged perfectly.

I am now hooked and will be buying more!"

"I was surfing the web when I ran across the name 'Blue Ridge Oils' and immediately checked it out, being a typical painter who
is  always keeping an eye out for some new oil paint that will revolutionize my paintings causing the public to clamor for more of my
work.   Well I hooked up with a palette full of Blue Ridge Oils and its been full steam ahead ever since.  Eric Silver and Blue Ridge
has got himself a killer product that isn't going away any time soon.

First and foremost is the pigment load, its as good as anything I've ever used, and I've used most.   Brush-ability...my main pet
peeve....I really have issues with paint that I've got to massage with mediums and a palette knife in order to end up with something
that's malleable enough to use.  In other words, I don't like having to do what my paint manufacturer should have done in the first
place:  produce oil paint that I can paint with out of the tube.   Blue Ridge Oils does this better than anyone I've seen.....an oil paint
that is vibrant, luscious and with a brush-ability to die for..right out of the tube!  Whats not to like.

Next, is price:   A great oil paint that I don't have to take loans out to purchase.  Good enough to match the higher priced oil
paints (some imported, some just ripoffs who want to get wealthy on the backs of artists)  but with a price tag that's simply fair and
manageable for most.   What I really like about Blue Ridge and Eric Silver is his accessibility and his desire for feedback.   He wants
to know if you are happy with his paint, he likes feedback;   Plan on Eric Silver and Blue Ridge Oils to be around for a long, long
    time.

Oh, if I were you, I'd  lean on and hastle Eric to make more Napthol Red.  He made a tube for me that simply is the most
prodigious and electrifying red I've ever used. Than he ran out and hasn't made anymore. Like, whats that?  Eric?"
